A 3 trekking tours to visit the 3 biggest waterfalls of the northern region, all of them near Chachapoyas and Kuelap: Gocta 2 jumps and 771m drop, Yumbilla 895 m 4 jumps and Chinata 580m, all of them surrounded of the wild nature of jungle sierra highlands. Of course ou cannot leave this region without visiting Kuelap Fortress, the Machu Picchu of the north.

CHACHAPOYAS Llegada vuelo desde Chiclayo, traslado. Visita al Museo Etno Histórico de Santa Ana. Hospedaje. |

CHACHAPOYAS/KUELAP/COCACHIMBA At 07h30 departure to Kuelap (9000ft). Visit to the Kuelap Fortress. Downhill hike to Utcubamba valley. Lunch on the way back. Pick up and transfer at 17h00 to Cocachimba village. Lodge. Kuelap fortress is the most important citadel of Chachapoya Kingdom; its function was acting as a Fortress by 1000 years until the defeat under the Incas army. Forgotten and covered by vegetation was discovered before Machu Picchu but remained unstudied until the last years. This huge stone building is maybe the second most important in Peruvian pre Hispanic history. |

COCACHIMBA/GOCTA/COCACHIMBA At 07h00 we begin the hike to the base of second fall of Gocta Waterfalls (third heighest in its category in the World with 771 meters height) Walking in the cloudforest we will enjoy the nature and maybe a cold bath in their waters. Back to Lodge and Lunch. Free afternoon for resting. |

COCACHIMBA/CHINATA/POMACOCHAS At 06h00 saldremos hacia Pedro Ruiz y de ahi al poblado de Cuispes para realizar la caminata de 1hora por terreno exigente a las Cataratas de Chinata de mas de 500m de caida para retornar al atardecer y continuar la ruta hacia la Laguna Pomacochas. Hospedaje. |

POMACOCHAS/YUMBILLA/CHACHAPOYAS At 05h00 saldremos hacia Pedro Ruiz y de ahi al poblado de Cuispes para realizar la caminata a las Cataratas de Yumbilla de 870m de caida en 4 saltos para retornar al atardecer y continuar la ruta hacia la Chachapoyas. Hospedaje. |
