This route combines two key regions in the Inca history: Cusco and Chinchaysuyo. 1470 marks the beginning of the Inca conquests and this expansion could not be possible until they made an alliance with the Kingdom of the Chinchas, who possessed the largest navy and trade craft that guaranteed food and supplies to the Inca armies.
This richness of lands and sea is still appreciated on different ecosystems: beaches, dunes, green valleys, foothills and deserts where ancient civilizations left their mark. Here we find the Sacred Valley of Pachacamac, the town of Pisco from which flights depart to the Nasca Lines and Paracas National Reserve. Also, along this route you will enjoy the beach, the gastronomy, and the Peruvian Pisco.
In the Andes this selection of trails takes us through a series of ancient roads and Andean culture. Starting with the Maras classic ride, tours leads to the Sacred Valley for having two additional routes. This trip is completed with a visit to the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu.
An ideal trip for those who enjoy the scenery, high quality cuisine and luxurious accommodations.
