After the Spanish conquest the Inca society was disappearing. Tupac Amaru II a direct descendant of the last Inca led the Andean revolution in 1776; 40 years before the beginning of the campaign for independence. His tragic story is evidenced in the midst of this wonderful natural environment, even with Andean communities as Raqchi where we spend one night of our adventure. Also we visit other interesting places as God Wiracocha Temple, Machu Pitumarca, Pikillacta and Andahuaylillas

CUSCO/MARAS/URUBAMBA/SACRED VALLEY The adventure starts after a transfer from Cusco nearby Chinchero Andean Community (11.400ft) riding by a dirt road that takes us first to Huaypo Lagoon, having to climb a bit to get Moray ruins continuing downhilling to Maras village and the Salt Mines, arriving at the end to Urubamba. Transfer or biking to Lodging (8.400ft). |

SACRED VALLEY/MACHU PITUMARCA/RAQCHI Departure at 07h30 south from Cusco, where we will start the ride at 11h00 by Pitumarca valley and where at the end we will visit Machu Pitumarca Inca complex. Arrival in the afternoon to Raqchi, where we will settle in the houses of the community. Typical dinner, music, dance and costumes of the community. /B/L/D |

RAQCHI/SURIMANA/ANDAHUAYLILLAS At 07h00 visit to the archaeological complex of the Temple of Wiraqocha. Departure at 09h00 towards Tungasuca from where we begin the ride of lagoons: Pomacanchis, Acopía and Asnacocha closing this part in Sangarará village and from where depending the hour we may continue until getting transferred to Andahuaylillas village. Lodging. /B/L |

ANDAHUAYLILLAS/PISAC/CUSCO Transfer to Pikillacta, after the visit we brgin the ride by Vilcanota river towards Pisac. Depending the time of arrival and after lunching we continue getting Cusco at the end of the day. /B |
