The Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, is the largest protected natural area of Peru, with an extension of 2'080,000 ha and is located between the Maranon and Ucayali rivers. Is accessible by river from Iquitos, its waters are home to 250 species of fish, the forest keeps near 800 variety of trees that are home to 330 species of birds, 13 monkeys, as well as mammals, reptiles and insects.

Day 1 IQUITOS/LODGE Reception and transfer to the port of Nauta to Iquitos 97km. Arrive at the lodge. In the afternoon walk around and possible night time excursion where stories are told about the Amazonia. Lodging.
Day 2 LODGE/PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast depart at 05:00 to enjoy birdwatching. At return will head to Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, and after check in at the lodge, will go by the Yanayacu river where will observe pink dolphins, monkeys and many medicinal plants, and the amazing tree of Lupuna and the Victoria Regia. The reflections of the sky in the water make the area known as the Forest of Mirrors. In the afternoon, return to the lodge. Lodging.
Day 3 LODGE/NAUTA STREAM After breakfast departure at 05:00 to enjoy birdwatching. At return transfer to the Nauta stream to watch the animals, birds, and insects; variety of trees, and many medicinal plants. In the afternoon return to the lodge. Lodging.
Day 4 LODGE/IQUITOS Departure to a native community where we can see and buy crafts made with seeds and other Amazonian materials. After lunch transfer to Iquitos, then to the airport. /B/L
Optional: Overnight in Iquitos.
Day 1 IQUITOS/CRUISE Reception at the airport in the afternoon. Transfer to the Nauta Port 97km from Iquitos. Transfer to the cruise ship. Cabin.
Day 2 CRUISE/ PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL PARK Depending the amount of rain of season we will take a walk into the jungle. After lunch departure to El Dorado river within the National Reserve Pacaya Samiria. Cab.
Day 3 CRUISE/ PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL PARK Departure to the Pacaya River and the Atun Poza Lake, where we have a chance to see a different ecosystem from the previous day and take a walk in the forest. Cab.
Day 4 CRUISE/IQUITOS Returning to Nauta will pass by the Yarapa river and the Miguel Port in order to learn something about the local culture. Arrival to Nauta, transfer to Iquitos then to the airport.
Optional: Overnight at Iquitos.
