Arequipa is known as the White City for its white walls made of volcanic rock. In the main center of the city can be seen Colonial churches and mansions, as well as the Monastery of Santa Catalina with alleys, squares and streets.
Only 4 hours from the city, we find the Colca Canyon which is one of the most extraordinary symbols of the country. Throughout the area you can see colorful pre Incas terraces planted with quinoa, corn, barley and wheat.
Today, is being very well kept its colonial churches and continue to wear their traditional costumes. Wrapping up the experience, at the Cross of the Condor you will appreciate the majestic flight of the condors.

AREQUIPA/COLCA Early departure by the road that leads us to cross the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca; where we may see vicuñas and viscachas (andean rodent). We continue to Patapampa, the highest point at 4,900m, to continue driving down to Chivay in the Colca Canyon. Visit to the Hot Springs of La Calera. Lodging. /B |

COLCA/AREQUIPA Morning departure to the Cross of the Condor viewpoint, to observe the Inca terraces and the spectacular flight of the condor. Return to Chivay for lunch and departure to Arequipa. Lodging. /B. Option *** heading overland from Chivay to Puno. |
